Australian Centre for Olympic Studies

The Australian Centre for Olympic Studies (ACOS) was launched on the 6 October 2005 by Helen Brownlee, member of the Australian Olympic Committee.  The aim of ACOS is to provide a national focus for Olympic studies in Australia.

The centre's main current activities are research and publishing, teaching and documentation.

Publications for Sale

The centre has a range of publications for sale.

Documentation

The Olympic Studies Room hosts an archive of material for Olympic Games research.  It is located in the UTS Library, Kuring-gai campus

ACOS maintains the On-line Olympic Games Bibliography which currently lists some 1800 entries.
